LAUGHING IN LONDON FOR CHARITY

I have really exciting news to share with you: I'm going to be laughing in England to support the BBC's Children in Need program. That's right! On Saturday, October 2nd between 2 and 4 p.m. I'll be a part of the joy-boosting event at Victoria Station in London.

The Children in Need program, for which we will be raising funds, is really amazing. As a result of the tremendous support it receives from supporters across the UK, they are able to fund fantastic projects which aim to help make positive changes to the lives of disadvantaged children and young people in the UK.

The 2009 Appeal was a fantastic success raising a record breaking £39 million despite the current economic conditions, which is a real tribute to the generosity and understanding of their supporters. So far this year they have been able to allocate over £20 million in two grant rounds to 665 projects dedicated to helping improve the lives of disadvantaged children and young people. They have two further grant rounds later this year in which to distribute the remainder of our budget.

Visit here for information on how to donate.

William will be on hand to get photographs so stay tuned. I will post a full report and these pictures when we return. HA HA for now.
